sick quail.

so i went to feed my 2 week old quail. one of the little guys was sick would not stand up or hold his head up. i brought him in thinking he would die. then i got the bright idea well if he is going to die i might as well try to save him. i opened his mouth and with a syringe and needle gave him one drop of LA 200 that i have for my cows. i put him back in the cage thinking i would find him dead later. well when i went back out he was up and running all around the cage. i sat there and watching him for a few minutes and seen him eating and drinking. i will keep an eye on him for the next couple days and will let you all know how he is doing.

that's cool but 2 week quail with a drop of LA 200 is a pretty high dosage i'd watch doing that too much. Also, the quail chick may not have been sick it could have been dehydrated or bonked it's head etc, administering antibiotics without proof of really needing them makes them immune to the antibiotic in teh future so always keep that in mind
