What is wrong with my Mini Rex? She isn’t cleaning herself properly. How can I stop this? Is it a disease? She lives on a wire bottom cage, but she has a nest box to hop in, and I clean the cage often.

Yes and clean her bum may help too, if it is warm there she may get flystrike. I am not sure what else she has maybe urinary tract infection like was previously mentioned. Honestly I'm not a nerd with rabbits, I own them but have never had these problems. A vet may know better.

You probably need to take her to a vet for some antibiotics.

I personally would always put down a piece of plywood where the rabbit liked to sit the most. Usually in one corner of the pen.

It's generally caused by e coli getting up into the urinary tract. So rabbits sitting in their own dropping can cause it. It's not contagious unless another rabbit shares the habitat, than perhaps others will get it too. Best to clean daily to avoid problems.
