I have 4 Rhode Island Reds. One is lethargic and falling over recently. I've owed them 2 Wks. The hen is about 4 months old. She isolates herself most the time. Pls help.

You should place her in a safe place where you can watch over her and try to get her to eat and drink. If you could do a through examination of her and describe what you find, then someone may be able to offer opinions on what to do. Also watch for her poops and describe those as well.

So sorry about your pullet - she sounds very ill. And often by the time they show their weakness, they are too ill to be helped.

Since she is new to your property have you noticed any bloody poops? Coccidiosis is a possibility and easily treated with Corid from farm supply.
Has she been "hen-pecked" by others or kept away from food/water? Since she has been separated have you seen her eat/drink/poop? If so what does poop look like? Pics are helpful. Let us know
