We've had chickens now for a couple of years. I have a hen who is lethargic and easier than normal to approach. I looked her over and I believe she has Vent Gleet. This is easily researched and seems treatable. My problem is, when I first inspected her I gently but firmly held her like a football and tipped her a little, not upside down fully, As I was paying more attention to her vent than her head I can't say for sure how far was too far but all of a sudden she "puked". Well chickens can't regurgitate, so I know I tipped too far, I'm thinking like a tea pot, I emptied her. It was smelly and bile like. I washed her vent and feather in a warm water bath last night and I did my best to not tip her too far, well again she emptied out, this time I know it wasn't too extreme, which leads me to believe there is more going on. I can't find much, I am sure you guys can tell I lack the knowledge of where to start. These ladies are pets, we have 7 hens all together. The are in a good size coop, with ventilation, heat lamp when needed, and an enclosed kennel to run around. I also let them free range the property, though not as often in the winter.

How old is she? Do you know when she last laid? It sounds like she may have internal issues which are also affecting her crop function. What does her crop feel like first thing in the morning before she has feed or water? What do droppings look like, and are you sure it's Vent gleet and not just runny droppings? Does her abdomen feel bloated, feel between the legs below the vent. Is it very firm, or water balloon like?
This is a very good article on crop issues:
