Sick rooster, maybe Marek's, part paralysed also molting

Great advice thank you!
First try he wasn't very happy, but I tried again today and he was really good and it seemed to help. He's still pretty with it, guess he's really strong willed. Still paralysed in his legs though and depth perception seems very off.
Would never have considered tubing him if not for this website.

Just thought I'd post an update:
Roo's still alive, not really kicking, but he's perked up a bit since the tube feeding started.
It's all too hard to tell if he'll be able to recover, but he's held on this long - I'm probably more optimistic than I should be, but every day is a small wonder. He's really lost any strength in his legs, but I'm moving them for him a bit every day. He's gained a fair bit of weight, and is almost back to normal weight.
He still enjoys his grapes, and I know he feels a bit better when he gets a good long time outside, but he's mainly inside and sleeping.
It's not great, but I don't think he's giving any signs of giving up just yet.

Thanks everyone but especially Eggcessive for the support.

Last update:
Roo died last night. He'd been getting weaker each day for the past week. It was all too much.
Just thought I'd post the conclusion to the saga.
He was a lovely boy.

I'm so very sorry :hugsYou gave him a remarkable chance and I'm sure he passed away with far less discomfort and distress than he would have experienced if not for all your loving care!

I am very sorry for your loss. It really sounds that he may have had Mareks with his lameness and his weakness. Did he continue to lose weight? In Australia, do you have a poultry lab where they could do a necropsy? It might help to find one, in case you see any other birds with symptoms. Take care, and I hope you don’t have any more sick birds.

Sorry if this is unnecessary bumping:

It wasn't really practical to go to a vet specialising. I do think he had Marek's, we did isolate him, I've been careful to bleach shoes and things to try to keep it from spreading though I think the others probably would have been exposed before I moved him, since they can keep a secret for a while, as we all know :( he didn't really lose more weight, the feeding was pretty regular and he seemed to be processing the food week judging by the poo, but he did get weaker and didn't want to move his legs at all. He did still seem to like a cuddle though, and he let me know when he was full or too hot so I hope it helped him a little bit.

Since he got sick about a month ago none of the others have shown any symptoms so I'm optimistic for them.
Thanks for all the consolation and support, and hopefully anyone else who goes through this can get something out of knowing the tubing worked well.
