Hello. Thanks as always for replying. I have had no hint of respiratory illness in the flock of 14 all winter long. Did a check several days ago and no symptoms. Then, two days ago, one of the healthy, laying buffs just dropped and we found her in the morning dead. They hadn't bothered her. Not a mark. No pests on her. She had been laying to the point where she had a squishy egg that must have come out after her passing so she showed no signs. Don't know why she passed, but, yesterday and today, the rooster is showing signs of developing a cold/respiratory ilness. Two questions, I had great success last fall with duramycin in the water. If I treat with that again, can I also do their worming at the same time so that the egg hold is all at the same time? Anyone use anything else? No one is showing any signs but the chicken, but, at this point, I am thinking that I should treat everyone....
Thoughts on the whole thing?
Thanks so much
