help—We got this guy little over a month ago along with his 3 girls.. well. After the quarantine period we introduced to the flock.. no issues THEN a week or so ago his girls started molting.. -sigh- I belive he is molting as well as of recently. — 3 days ago he and his ladies wouldn’t come off Roost, and if they did it wasn’t for long. He has since stoped crowing yesterday and today and just kind of stands under our Coop..
Worried I brought him inside to monitor
Poop-and food and drink consumption.

Checklist;

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Ayam cemani breed
Unknown age but my guess is he is older
He dosnt appear to have weight loss to me but these are also the first adult birds I have had.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Standing in one spot
Dosnt seem to be eating/drinking much
Crop feels seni full 2:40pm but he did not want any fruit or egg offered either.
he has not scratched around Iv seen and has stayed hidden while his girls dusted near him but are way more active
Around a week
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
Today is the first day he has not wanted to move much. But he’s standing and not sitting and he appear fluffed up

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
no other than possibly molting
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No sign
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
They were recently introduced to the flock after spending a couple days next
To them to get to know each other.
Could they be stress molting ?
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
He ate a cooked egg earlier this morning and ir
Feels like he has eaten some scratch or grain since then as well
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Looks like water with some green chunks but mostly water appearance
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Nothing.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Treat ourselves
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Housing is sand and dirt

I put him inside maybe 20 mins ago and he has since not moved at all

Very thorough! But you have not mentioned his crop. Did you feel his crop to see if it felt empty when it should (in morning) and full after feeding? If his crop is not emptying, he may have sour crop or an impacted crop.
You can also listen to his crop. Do you hear any gurgling sounds that may indicate fermentation occurring in the crop. If yes, begin treating for sour crop. Just google it or search this site. It is a very common problem and you will find plenty of home treatments to try.

I have dealt with this twice since we started keeping chickens. Both times were during spring green up when the chickens filled their crops with grass. It was so full there was nothing we could do for them.

It was emptythis morning and is still only half full. Breath dosnt drink and I near no gurgling or popping when he breaths . He is now hovering over the scratch still not doing much but did peck at little at the feed
His eyes are closed but still standing in about the same spot. Here is a poop pic it is now 5:08

I know you want to self-treat, but it may be time to seek professional assistance. Start by sending a fecal sample to be tested. After that, a vet visit. It depends on how attached you are to him i guess.

Otherwise, you can try some crushed garlic in his water (boosts immune system) and continue to monitor his food/water intake and processing.

I am not a fan of throwing meds at bird without an idea of what the problem is, but in all honesty, my birds aren't pets either, especially roosters. So unless its a simple diagnosis and solution, I choose humane euthanasia over what could be prolonged nursing of a bird that may not recover despite our best efforts.

Not saying you're there yet, but its a possibility to be prepared for

Could he have gotten into anything harmful or toxic? Rat poison? Moldy food? Etc.?
