My handsome Romeo isn't acting well, and he has been like this for a couple weeks now.
A few weeks back, a neighbor's dog carried him away in his mouth, and I just did see the act in time to scare the dog into dropping Romeo.
He picked out several tail feathers. His butt area looks red now, and he's got to the point he's just standing or laying in one place all day.

I have him indoors now in a dog crate. Any ideas on what I can do to help him recover?
I'm afraid I might lose him.

If he has wounds treat them. Check him for any signs of maggots around the vent and wounds. Feed him bits of stuff he finds tasty. Give him electrolytes. Treat him for internal/external parasites. Just give him lots of TLC.
