This is the third chicken that is sick, the other two passed away. They were both Frizzles. I don't know what to do, our farm vet isn't up on chickens. We did find worms on a perch, called the vet and got some worm medicine, (it is PANACURE, .1cc for each bird by mouth) that was over a week ago, need to give another dose 10 days after the first dose. The face of the first hen I lost turned purple, she had great difficulty breathing. The second one got sick and passed fast. She seemed to change facial color slightlly, but not like the first, and didn't seem to have trouble breathing. I brought her in the house, she was eating but didn't have the usual crop buldge that evening. I gave her Sulmet with a very small dropper the vet gave me with the worm medicine. I just had 8 banties, most are 2 yrs. old, I got 2 of them 1 yr ago this spring, and 6 this fall. I am very attached to my chickens, and hope someone can help me save my little friends. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I found these for worms, if it is that. I hope it helps a little, maybe someone else will know what is wrong with them. Good luck!

Thank you for your help, I surely will check into these sites. She has not died yet, she is trying to recover, did eat some and is drinking. This is a good sign I think. Joan
