My Pet Broadbreast Turkey was breathing with his mouth open two days ago. I started him on Vet rx and Vibactra plus. No improvement so i used Clindamyacin drops 1ml in the morning and he was worse by noon so we upped the dose to 2cc. Plus gave him prednizone. And we will give him 2 cc tonight. My problem is lack of funds and the Clindrops are running out. I now have a couple choices. I have on hand Ciprofloxacn pills both 250 and 500 mg and also have Oxytetracycline in powder form. Also have Amoxicillin/ Clav 825-125. I dont know which is best and i have never been able to figure out the dosing for the powder Oxytetracycline. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
