Sickly hen

My next door neighbor's hen seems to have fallen ill. She cant really walk.. she just falls over. We checked out her legs to make sure she had hurt one of them but everything seems fine. She fluffs up takes a few steps and falls over, she is still trying to eat and drink and has been moved into a cage by her self. Does anyone know whats wrong with her? And how to help?
