Hi everybody! My ten month old rouen just started losing feathers, seems like three or more daily. I figured it was only molting until I noticed her poo is like an orange color. Her diet hasn't changed, although since the snow has melted she's been pecking at what looks like moss along the garden. She's also been hunting worms in the backyard. I also know there's a few orangish rocks she's been pecking at but she usually just spits them out... Should I be concerned?

You might be able to take a fecal sample to the vet and have them check for parasites.

    She might be molting, though.

It is difficult with ducks as you know. Keep an eye on her, see if there is anything else different going on. With the change of weather, some things might be different.
