"Sidewinder" Duck

Need help for a 3-week-old Muscovy duck with a "crooked" neck.

He or she hatched perfectly fine. This started a week later. Can't feel any mass & you can pull the neck straight (but it goes right back). Is eating & drinking fine. Lays down a lot, though, and walks kind of horizontal.

Ideas?

Sounds like wry neck. You can gently message the neck into the correct position, a few times a day. It may take a while but, it usually helps in chickens. Sometimes it is caused by a bump or peck to the head.

Do post on the duck thread - maybe this is from a niacin deficiency.
