I had planned on switching them today anyway from the brooder to the coop since they were starting to look a bit crowded in there and now they ARE in their coop with plenty of space (heat lamp in there of course). But one strange thing was that the waterer was bone dry today when I got home around 2 from work. They have never come close to emptying that thing so my best guess is that maybe they got too hot? Up until now including this morning they gave no sign of being hot- they'd be spread out evenly across the brooder. But the waterer was completely dry and not spilled out or anything today, so that combined with them starting to get a little snug are my best guesses as to the death of that pretty little gold laced wyandotte. Poor little thing- I wish I had moved them a little sooner.
