I am very satisfied!!!

The post office really scrambled these poor guys. I think they played football with the box, but so far it looks like I got some tough little chicks.

I'd imagine that if the remaining ones do not develop it will be because of the rough postal handling.

Oh good! I couldn't tell from the post. Well good! What tough lil babies!!!

Hi, I'd like to be added to your "list." Can you let me know (an estimate is fine) how long you think it'll be before my name comes up?

I'd like two dozen eggs please.....guess I'd better go read all of the previous posts to see if there was anything I missed!

Of course i will add you! I couldnt give you any clue as to when you'll come up. I've had to skip about 5 people due to lack of response. So you may come up faster, or if the girls stop laying as many it may slow down. But i have 4 girls out there. They HAVE been giving me 4 a day. Today I got... 1? Hmmm... It must be the odd weather!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

gotcha added for 2 dozen

Yeah thats how i was planning on shipping them. If they lay well I could easily get two dozen in a week. They've done it for me before. So we shall play it by ear.

Can I be put on the list for 1 dozen? You may wind up needing to skip me though (I will answer you when my name comes along)... It all depends on what my hen decides to do once the current eggs hatch... Maybe you could help me with that. Will she likely not go broody again, or if I put an egg under her right away once the chicks hatch, will she stay sitting? I know... It's ultimately up to nature but if you could give me an idea of how this could work out that would be great! Sorry So long!

Do you plan to let her raise the babies herself? If so she'll take care of them and won't even think of hatching anymore eggs. If you take them from her, she'll return to laying eggs soon. That would be an ideal time to set her with another batch. (At least thats what i've done before). Maybe someone else could help you, sorry I don't know much more.
