sikie hen won't leave nesting box???

ok i just went out there & picked her up & there isn't even an egg. She was making this weird crying noise & even when we put her on the ground it took her a minute to snap out of her trance. That was the weirdest thing i have ever seen. It broke my heart.
 
Silkies are known for being very broody. It is in their genes.
Chickie addicts love them for it. Can't wait for my Silkies to get to that age so I can hatch more eggs with their help.
