Silence Is Not Golden Here

And I like wild mice! I like all wild animals, even the raccoons I have to shoot to contain their population.
I’m saying the comparison of a domesticated rat to a house mouse or barn rat is silly, but many people do not understand the difference.
That would me moi.
I don't even think I am capable of learning the difference.
I'm making the almost want to puke face now...in real life.

That sucks.
Like about how much do you think it would cost?
I'm thinking like ten dollars.
It can be more than that can it?
Well, it is more like $30 if you want to be able to track it. $10 will get you maybe nothing and maybe USPS parcel which is not something you can track and will likely take upwards of ten business days.

Fair enough... is it difficult to clean a skull? I was thinking about doing up a few bird skulls.
It can be finicky if you don’t know what you’re doing. You just have to have the right materials and be prepared to screw up the first several skulls.
FYI, the smaller and more dainty the skull, the harder it is to clean. Even big skulls have little pieces come loose that like to go missing and ruin everything. I’ve never tried a bird skull because it sounds like a nightmare. :p

Ah ok. I was actually hoping I could put a few in a mesh cage in the corner of the yard where animals couldn’t get into it and let the bugs and bacteria work away most of it over a long time period. Then just give it a good clean once it’s mostly decomposed.

I would imagine the fragility of a bird skull being a nightmare to clean. I've gotten *extremely* lucky and found bird skulls in the woods before, but the bones are just so petite - I would say, best of luck to you and if you are successful, please let us know your process!
