I did and split them between three broodies. The eggs under the other two disappeared mysteriously. I think my fbcm ate them. (Insert ugly words.)

Good afternoon everyone! I finally caught up from the great crash last night. I was too busy this morning to spend time catching up.

One of the 6 chicks I hatched last week died. I think the day of being picked on by hens and not knowing how to drink out of a rabbit bottle did it in.

Sorry Rae. I hate that you lost one.

I think bad luck is my thing. I ordered once before but only ordered three that time. They sent 4. One for broken and the other three didn't develop but I blamed that time of my post man. I came home to find the box stuffed into my mailbox. I was pissed to say the least.

Yes I know. It's pretty amazing what they go through to get to us. They're so resilient, but that's part of the reason i was attracted to hatching my own with my broody. I guess hatch rates are lower but it seems so natural and easy.
