Silent Cockerel

Has anyone ever had or heard of a Rooster that didn't crow?
I have a 6 month old Cockerel that hasn't crowed yet. He lives with 3 hens (3 years old) he only makes hen noises.

He is very cute, small. I am hoping (fingers crossed) that he never starts. I cant keep a rooster, (hubby and neighbors wont let me). Wouldnt he be a perfect boy? lol

I have 12 roos. 11 are 2011 hatches in early spring and 1 is at least a year older. Of these roos 6 of them crow and I can distinguish each one as to who it belongs to.

He's just in touch with his feminine side! I have a house chicken who is 7 months old and he crowed for the first time ever at 5 am this morning.
