I have 3 silkie hens who should start laying any day now but this last 3 week have decided to lay on top of my other 2 hens who are hatching eggs ??? Now I see they have taken the eggs when the hens get up to eat and after a while get board and leave the eggs to get cold ? Just to do it all again when the other hen start sitting on new eggs??? It's odd and I have no idea what's going on!!!
But it's not good behavior 😩

I'm sorry, I'm don't quite understand.
You have 2 brooding hens and the silkies keep adding their eggs to the broody hens clutches?
How many nest boxes do you have?
Are the eggs fertile?
How long have the broodies been sitting?

I have to Cochin hens who want to sit on egg but my younger silkies not laying yet but should be any day now keep setting on them!
I have extra nest boxes

They sit on top of them tell they get up to eat and then take there eggs .... Not to long after that they abandoned the eggs to get cold ??? It's odd

I didn't really want to start making pens inside my hen house, I wanted them to live together not sure if the silkie will stop it if I just separate them every time.

If you want chicks, you have to accommodate broodies and give them their own space. Having other birds in there can: break eggs, break broodiness, cause fights.
If your coop isn't big enough, you might want to set up a crate for the broodies.
If they eggs ate infertile, you want to break the broodies so they don't waste their time.
