Silkie Age?:

Can anyone give me an approx. on this silkie's age?? I know it's not always easy to tell, but I do know at different ages come different types of feathering, etc. Also I know you probable wont' be able to tell by a photo but what sort of quality would you call this? (I know you include toe spacing, but I don't have a picture of her feet, but she does have 5 toes)

Hi Rachel. If you could get a few more pics, I bet we could get some better info to you.
Try for a face only. A foot. A standing shot. A shot of her back- sort of from above and one of her wing spread out.

That will help alot.

Looks to be a pullet [under 1 year old]. Pet quality.

I bought her in the beginning of February. She has grown some. I know she's under 1, I just was hoping to find out approx so I could have a good idea of when to start looking for eggs. She's probable not much smaller then my other silkie, who is a year, but I don't know how their growth goes, if they grow quickly, slowly or varies.
