@Tonyroo I see now that you were referencing the fact that the D'uccle pictured above has a rose comb. Interesting to see... (and yes. D'uccles have single combs.)

The D’uccle was born in early/mid-August and I think the Silkie was born mid-July.D'uccles have single combs. D'anvers (as @LothalRebel has) have rose combs. Both have 'Belgian Bearded' on the front of their names. D'uccles also have feathered feet while D'anvers are clean legged.
OP, How old is your D'uccle?

Just our luck.... all of our chicks are Roos! We got 5 ducklings in May and ALL 5 are drakes! We live on plenty of land so we can keep them and let them clean our pastures, but darn I want some eggs!Okay. The d'uccle is definitely a cockerel then. He'll be even prettier once he gets his sickle feathers!

Were you asking what the offspring of these two would be? I literally hatched one this am …. My Silkie is same color (but her mother was a paint) and her dad a frizzle. So they may vary bc of their different recessive genes but when chick finishes drying off I’ll send picAny ideas? Thank you for your help! (And I apologize if I’ve spelled either breed incorrectly.)
