Need some help figuring out this mystery. My three month old silkie bantam has been using her foot/nails to scratch her right ear. She also tosses her around, seemingly to scratch. I’ve checked for anything in her ear, no. I’ve checked her whole body for mites, fleas, any crawly bug, no. I’ve been treating her with Vet RX for over a week using a q tip to run oil on her beak, outside and inside of ears, under
wings, inside mouth and today a drop inside of her ear. No change. She off balance, slow to join her flock mates. Eating and drinking great. No issues otherwise. Should I start antibiotics? She’s very feathery and continues to produce feathers. But this can’t just be a feather growing in her ear issue. ??
