Silkie/Brahma cross thread! :)

Updated images of my chicken!
Still don’t know, breed or gender, s/he’s 10 weeks old and about 10cm tall, could be due to the illnesses though.

I know the Mom is pure White Silkie but Dad could be Dark Brahma Bantam or a Sultan. I’m 99.9% sure that the dark Brahma is the Dad. They almost look like Partridge Silkies by their markings but they are more gray/black/white.
Any ideas how they may look full grown? I think I read there is no chance they will have Silkie feathers since she bred with the Brahma.

I was mentioning this possibility to my daughter and decided to Google silkie/brahma mix thinking no waaay. And look, yes, way. I could not imagine how the roos would get to the vent of a big ole brahma.

Anyway, I have (or will have effective next month) a MIXED flock of no less than 11 breeds. Would be interesting finagling the silkie/brahma to mate. I have only one coop and my babies will be free range. Any ideas how I could engineer that combo?

Artificial insemination? I’ve heard it is possible if you really want a specific cross.

My itty bitty Sebright mates with all of my large birds - and he's smaller than a Silkie! I imagine you'd have to isolate the pair somehow. But I've never allowed my chickens to breed and hatch because I don't want to have to deal with the inevitable roosters, so Idk.
