Silkie Breeding Genetics

Okay so in my coop that will have all different colored chickens here's what colors I will have.
Roosters:
White( as a chick he was mainly grey then grew out all white)

Black(as a chick he was grey too and came out black)

Grey

Hens:
Buff
Black
Other potential colors that will be in this coop will be: grey, paint naked neck, and maybe blue cream
With that list of colors, I think many of the chicks will grow up to be black or grey, and maybe some blues.

A few chicks might grow up to match the colors of the other parents (white, buff, etc.)

Any chick with a naked neck parent has a chance of having a naked neck.

If the naked neck has normal feathers (not silkie feathers), then its chicks will also have normal feathers. (Possible exception: if it carries the recessive gene for silkie feathers, then some of its chicks could show silkie feathers.)

And of course, there is a chance of your current silkies carrying other color genes that do not show, but that might be visible in their chicks, if the chicks get the same recessive gene from both parents.

This girl hatched out weird, with the Dominant White down color, & headspot, but turned out like a Red Pyle. Genetics can be quite the Mystery sometimes.

Down color of Dominant White Silkies. Note the red tone. Recessive White silkies have a Silvery tone.

I don't have a recessive white picture for example though.

My babies keep changing colors like they’re tasting the rainbow lol. Love seeing how they look different as the days pass. The little gray one has the silly head feathers coming in black and around the neck there’s brown growing out. The all white one started growing black spots here and there. Both “chipmunk chicks” seem to be getting darker and darker.

This is just the very basics. If you breed the Silkie with a smooth-feathered bird, the F1 offspring will be smooth feathered. F1 offspring should have feathered feet and five toes, as well as be crested. The color of the offspring depends on the color of the parents, but keep in mind that most white Silkies hide other colors.
So if my roo is a satin, will all of his offspring be satin as well?

No. A Satin is a Silkie that has all the traits of a Silkie, EXCEPT the Silkie feathers. You cannot guarantee that everything else will remain.
OK thanks. I have 10 eggs due to hatch in a few days and the dad is a NN Satin Roo that is black with gold leakage. and the hens are Regular Silkies. A white and a splash. No idea what I am going to get!

The white one appears to have feathered out like a silver Columbian. But better pictures from the side will help determine.

My Silver Columbians down color was a Silver Partridge type coloration.
