Silkie broody ripping out her chicks tail feathers - HELP!!!!!

My Silkie broody is ripping out and eating her chicks tail feathers!! I have put the Fooy spray (bitter tasting spray) on the chicks' backsides but she's still after them. I put in a flock block for her to peck at instead of them but she's still doing it! I do have a red 100watt heat bulb above the nest box due to the cold temps of the coop at night.

I need help and fast! I am going to have another generation of chickens that enjoy feather eating

I would-they dont "need" to be with momma-but it happens to be the best thing when you want them to rear and teach the chicks survival. better get a brooder going:-)
