I have 6-1/2 dozen eggs going in my incubator tonight! I have some eggs in my other incubator but I am not expecting a very good hatch rate. They are going into lockdown next saturday.
I have only a few silkie eggs that I found in the coop(I have no idea how long they were there as they were kind of hidden and the hen just started laying) the rest are Buff Orpington/RIR, RIR, and a few RIR/EE's. I can't wait for the day they all hatch!
I ordered some Buff pullets and a rooster, and some more RIR's. Hopefully I can get pure hatches next year!
I also ordered b/w silkies. They came yesterday and the kids were so excited.
