Never hatched these colors before and I wanted to see your opinion.

Would the first one be a solid black even with the light under chin and 2 grey/blue/lavendar?

Also, I never had such a light colored partridge before!? Any idea how it’ll turn out?

Ignore the last white one! That one is obvious! 😁

If they're parents were two different colors then they will be surprise color variations! Most likely the first one will be pretty much black but it could show some leakage later depending on who the parents were. The second photo with the grey chick could be a lighter colored silkie but once again I'm not sure what color the parents were so they might throw some unique colors. The third photo the partridge colored one could show some partridge or it could be multiple variations of brown. It will be a surprise! Super cute chicks! You'll have to post updates.😊

Knowing what color silkies will give is always a gamble because you never know what hidden genes there are. Especially with white. White can either be dominant white or recessive. My guess is yours is recessive white( unless you know otherwise) based on the variety of colors the chicks have and the light silvery color of your whiter chicks . Recessive white silkies will have a silvery tone at hatch but dominant white silkies at hatch can be golden colored or have a reddish tone. I can't wait to see what they look like as they grow!
