Silkie Chick color question.

I got some chicks tonight my aunt hatched she got them from a guy who said the eggs could come out buff/blue/black or partridge or splash.

I got some black...some white some that look maybe buff...but there is one I am not sure on color here it is.

It looks buff to me. I just hatched a buff that looks like that.

Agree, looks buff to me too. I found the ones that hatch that dark usually are not clear buffs.

thanks to you both! I thought buff too but was not sure never saw some with that much dark on them.

I would not call one that dark a buff. Much more likely to be a poorly coloured (too yellow) partridge.

so maybe a mismarked partridge?
