I still have about 20 or so eggs from my chickens under broodies. I need to start taking the freshly laid eggs away and stop letting them develop or I am going to have a ton of chicks. I have almost 20 in the brooder in the house right now lol.

Do you need to grow Silkies out for someone, or just want more to add to your own flock? I have 3 brooders, so I could grow some out for you if you hatch them. You have much better hatch rates than I do.

That's next on my list is to get electricity down to the coops somehow. I can bring two bags of feed and some money to pay for you cleaning the brooders. I'll pop my older eggs in the bator now then.

I ended up with 20 from this hatch...19 blacks (maybe a couple dark blues in the Silkies) and 1 yellow EE. The little chick looks so funny in the middle of the rest lol. A couple are frizzling already, yay!
