Silkie chick sexing

A breeder near me has some straight run chicks that I’m very interested in. They are a week old. Could I tell their sex by their wing feathers at this age? Any tips?

With silkies?! I wish! Sadly no and at a week old there sure isn’t a way for silkies.

Agree! The only way to determine gender with silkies this young is with DNA testing. Otherwise you will have to wait until the age of 4 months or even later.
