This is my white silkie rooster caring for his two Delaware chicks. You can see one under his front end and one poking out behind him.
They are now almost full grown, and almost the same size as him, but they all still travel together and bed down together. It's the sweetest thing to see them.

This is Chicken (ironic right?

) He is about 6 months old, and possibly is the sweetest, funniest chicken I have ever seen! he does the weirdest little run-hop thing(because of his crooked toes) when he can't keep up with my other 4 flying chickens, and when you pick him up, he LOVES it, he will fall asleep while watching his ladies, as I call them, in your arms! Obviously, HE is a male... but he is a sassy mama's boy!!

Being left alone by mama is ok for this baby. He/she just follows along with the big kids finding goodies to eat.
