Silkie chicken with severe limp

Silkie hen spontaneously developed severe limp walking with foot turned under- no apparent injury, infection or other obvious finding.
Any ideas as to cause? Do silkies have any genetic predisposition to hip or leg problems?

I've never owned silkies before so I dont know about genetics, or anything about them really. Could there be anything wrong with her hip? Is there any other odd behaviors? Is she eating/drinking noramally? Please give us more info.
