silkie chickens laying eggs?

I just recently got 4 silkie chickens; one rooster and 3 hens. I got them this sunday. Well monday i got 3 eggs and now its been three days and they have not layed anymore. Why is it that they've not layed anymore?

HHmmmm....don't know. I have one silkie, and she was laying every day until she went broody. I wonder if yours just need more settling in time, and then they'll get going again.

ok this is how it goes when you got them an egg was already in the making and they had to lay it now they are going to settle in and when they are ready they will start up again . So good luck.

It usually takes a month or so after a move for them to settle in long enough to start laying again.

It took mine a month after i got her for her to start up and she would not leave the house . We found out she did not like the male roo so we got her a new mate and all is well
