Hi
I have recently got two silkie hens
The lady I bought them from said they were all hens and were laying

it’s been two weeks now and not one egg
They seem quite young to me, less than a year old if I was to guess

I have two hens and two cockrels
I used to have 4 cockrels until a week ago, as I caught one being mean and they weren’t silkies
I felt a 2-2 ratio was better.

I am feeding them layers pellets and they are free range
They seem to now be more settled and sit in boxes at night and keep with the males more

the lavender coloured female moults ALOT
Advice please

It normally takes my silkies around 2 weeks to start laying again. And if the lavender one is moulting (which it looks like she is) it will take an extra few weeks. They are some very cute girls :)
