Silkie chicks @ 3 weeks

These are the chicks from my Cuckoo rooster and Calico hen. What a combination

Two are definitely Cuckoo, 3 are grey? (I think), 1 ? dark grey (maybe Calico?), and 3 white.

Where'd those come from???

The hen is carrying grey and mahogany/partridge.
Could the white be recessive?

The second pic shows the chick darker than it really is.

The 6 she hatched almost two weeks ago have 3 white, 2 Cuckoo, and ?grey or ??

Here's those three whites at 3 days old. Two have pink skin and one is darker but not black.

White Silkies are not suppose to have black skin?
So, why does my evil little Q-Tip (EVIL only because he is so stupid cute I couldn't leave the store without him) have black skin?
It's not really black, it is the nicest shade of blue/black and his (assuming he is a he) earlobes are the the prettiest metallic blue color. I love the look of the black skin under that puffy white ball of fuzz!
Where does the black skin come from? Why is it not desired as a good trait?
