Gammas Bearded Babies
Crossing the Road
I dont want them to suffer...ive not experienced this before with the past hatches.
All are silkie bantams
1 day old...the one in incubator is 7 hrs old.
I had 2 hatch in middle of the night at 12:30am...they were weak but looked ok and at 5am they were stiff and dead.
No obvious signs of any problems physically.
The black one hobbling born yesterday seems to have no ability to walk or stand up...it hobbles and right leg goes out to the side. It does feel as though the hock is larger on right leg.
The one in incubator cannot stand at all and hops then rests back on bottom.
I am giving them both nutridrench and vitamin b complex based on info I've been reading on how it can aid in leg/foot problems in chicks.
Please advise if you know what needs to be done...are they suffering? Is there anything I can do to help?
Thank u
