Silkie cockerels or pullets?

This boy started crowing yesterday. He is 3 and half months old, has almost no comb to speak of. I did though send out the egg shell he hatched from for DNA testing, so I knew he was a boy. He has been acting like a boy for the past several weeks. Chasing all the girls and pecking them lightly on the back of the neck. 😊 View attachment 2776137
He’s beautiful. I sure wished I lived in an area where I can keep roosters.

My Silkie pullets have always been very talkative but never sounding anything like a crow. I'm so sorry. They're not all the same though and I'll be hoping for the very best outcome. One of my Silkie roosters is the absolute most precious rooster ever. Not sure if that helps at all but hopefully lighten the news
Mine are all pretty chatty throughout the day, but the flapping from my splash and the three attempts to crow was definitely a sound that has never come out of any of them. Well, we started with 4 and now I’m down to one pullet maybe 2. I think from now on, I may just get DNA sexed silkies.

Black with leakage is a cockerel
Partridge is a pullet
Paint I suspect cockerel but I need a close up comb photo(push crest back)
Your splash looks more grey to me, suspect this one is a pullet, but again need a clear comb photo.
Beautiful birds! 😊
