Silkie! Cockrell or roo ?

Please help this is my first set of chickens this is the only silkie that we got. 7 weeks old. Girl or boy????

Still too young to tell 100% and silkies in general are particularly tricky to sex, but at just seven weeks your bird has already developed a fairly prominent comb. I vote cockerel.

I second that...I think it's gonna be a Cockerel...bc of size of comb...I also have silkies and they r usually hard to tell until they get older.

Maybe it's just a hen with a big comb.

That’s a cockerel. No pullet especially a silkie will have that big of a comb at 7 weeks. Sorry you can’t keep him.

I wouldn't be so sure of that just because of a comb. I've had a couple with combs that turned out hens. i think you should check the saddle feathers
