Hello! I have a buff roo, a buff hen, a black hen, a white hen, and a supposedly partridge hen (too young to be in pen yet), and was wondering what color combos I might end up with? Does anyone have forums or external links with info on buff silkie genetics? I'm trying to learn but not coming up with much.

The buffs will breed true, the buff+black with be black, not knowing what type of white the silkie is, the buff+white could be buff, black or white. And buff + Partridge should be buff.
Thank you so much! I don't know the white hen's lineage, so it'll be a mystery until she hatches chicks. A follow up question if that's alright; I have a hen that is white in a separate pen, she's a satin and her siblings were I believe splash with leakage but I could be wrong, I'll add pictures. If I added her to the pen, what colors could she possibly throw? I'm a newbie to genetics and trying to get the basics down, I understand that white for Silkies doesn't mean they'll have white babies and it can be like a "sheet" hiding other colors. Thank you so much for the link! I'll have to play around with it to figure it out :)

I barely know the basics of genetics with the help of the calculator. If the brother had red leakage, she might throw red leakage but I don't know.
What pretty satins.
