Silkie Color question??

I thought this guy was white but recently he started developing gray patchiness. (He is 4.5 mo.) Is this leakage or a poor splash? Hen was blue. I orignally thought the roo was black but it could have been my paint roo.

I say splash. She also may be blue or lavender. Sometimes when there is black comes other colors like splash, lavender, or blue. Black is were you get these other colors in chickens.
She's pretty. I have two white Silkie Xes. Their names are Beemer, the roo, and Basil, the hen.

If your hen is blue it couldn't be a splash if father was black. And if your paint is father it couldn't be splash unless the paint is a blue or splash paint.
If the paint is the father it could be a paint lime him. Depending on his color it could be a black paint, a blue paint or a splash paint.
Doesn't look like what I'd expect from a splash or a paint. But I've never seen a splash paint or a blue paint that was very light blue.
