The gry/partridge chick 6 weeks photos are too fuzzy and the colour doesn't appear correct--overall too slanted to red. So I can't really tell. Is all the feathering coming in black/white/grey with no brown, yellow or red? That indicates grey.

If you see brown/yellow/red it indicates partridge. An incorrectly coloured grey with red wing patches won't show at this young age--it will be several months of age before that becomes apparent.

It's really too fuzzy to say for a certainty, but the hackle looks light and doesn't appear barred, so I doubt it, but as I said, without a better photo...

No it doesnt look like that. I took that picture with my video camera. Ill try to get a better one today at some point
