I have a splash silkie roo and a grey silkie pullet. The are both exceptional birds, the hen is really a nice show bird. She just started laying. They are currently penned together, and I don't have any other silkies to pair them up with. Should I bother hatching eggs from them? Will the chicks be a funky color or just some of both?

From the splash cock:
The offspring will receive Bl, and bl from the grey, so the result will be a blue something.

They will likely receive Pg & Ml as those are the genes for lacing which are carried (or at least they are supposed to be) by blues.

From the grey hen:
They will receive Pg & ml
The sons will receive a copy of silver.

So:
You're likely to end up with blues with incomplete lacing. You may also end up with blue-greys and blue-partridge, depending on the exact alleles present in each bird.
