~!~Silkie Contest!-Contest Ends 6/01/08~!~

Thanks BamaChicken!

I am in love with that splash pullet in the last pic! That partridge roo is awesome, do you show?

Yes, Lilpeeps I do show. I don't have my Partridge roo anymore cause I decided not to do partridge till I got my others where I want them. He is still the best looking Partridge roo I have ever seen. I miss him some. I hatched him from Kentuckysilkies but I don't think he has the Roo that produced him any longer. He was very typey and his color was brillant. His name was Chebaka. In this process of learning how to breed silkies there are of course some decisions I made that I would change now that I know a little more.
Do you show yours?

A few more\\

I got some eggs from Tom too and they are coming alone really nicely. I just cant get over how nice that partridge boy was though, and I like the name lol.

Yes, I also show. I raise blue/black/splash, grey, cuckoo, various showgirls, and since I'm just now getting into lavenders, I'll be selling out of the buffs.

I love your pics, you have some really nice birds!

I saw where you were selling your buffs. Have you already sold them? I am just getting started in buffs and it is slow going but as one of the HatTrick girls wrote it is not for the faint of heart. I am doing well with my blacks and I have some very nice juvie whites I hatched from my own birds. Unfortunately the cockeral ratio has been high. I am leaving on vacation tomorrow for a week so maybe we can talk silkies when I get back. Julie

I've already found a home for them, but if for whatever reason it doesn't work out, I'll let you know

I only have one nice black cockerel I'm keeping for breeding, I actually almost have too many pullets LMAO

Have a fun trip!
