I got a silkie x ameraucana mix that just hatched.

The father was a white silkie, and the mother was an ameraucana. The chick seems to have black flesh, and silkie feet.

does anybody know what a silkie roo crossed with a buff orpington hen would look like?

This little guy had a buff Silkie dad and a buff Orpington mom. He and the goat were best buddies.

Sorry i am a new member on this site, so please forgive me for interupting current topics. my question is, is there any possibility fpr crossbreeding chicken layers with normal ones?

what do you mean by chicken layers? just chickens breed to lay the most?

what did he look like when he was a chick?

He looked a lot like a BO chick with feathered legs, as he started getting older he got a little bit of a crest on his head. He was a really sweet little rooster.

and did he have black skin?

I do mean chicken which lay eggs for eating only with the local breed roosters.now can those chicken breed be maye and hatchable eggs? @poultry parent (please excuse my english)

any chicken can lay eggs for eating, and a fertile egg can be eaten too
