Silkie Cross?

I bought a dozen "Pure Bred" day old White silkies back in March.

Now I'm wondering what my "Pure" silkie may be.... Do you think he's mixed with another breed?

All the others are solid white.
Sorry for the pics - took them with my cell phone.
I'll try to get better pics tomorrow.

I am NO expert but it looks like a silkie definetly, interesting splashing of colors though! Good luck, I know there are tons of experts who are better suited to make the call. Cute bird though!

Yep, definately a silkie. Not sure about coloring.

They are probably pure but pet quality. Lots of disqualifications on these

Doesnt look like a silkie. I think maybe Silkie x Cochin, because the comb is completely wrong. But hes very cute

Actually, I think there is a gene for silkies to have a single comb and still be "pure".

That guy definitely has genes from another breed. I would bet that somewhere in his ancestry is a D'Uccle. Here are some of the traits form the other breed; single comb, slinder tall body type, Vulture locks, and eye color.

I was going to say silkie/cochin cross too. I have a bunch of those and they look a lot like yours. And they are awesome chicks! Much more curious and adventurous like cochins but soft and sweet like a silkie.

He's not pure. That single comb is NOT a characteristic of a pure silkie.
