silkie crossed with what?

It definately could be! They are small though. About the size of my Bantams. They are still peeping so they might just still be growing babies. They are soild white though. Is that normal with your breed? You can tell the difference between the rooster and the hen, though not to a significant degree.

How old are yours??? I will try to find picutres of them smaller... Mine were yellowish white when they were just itty bitty... and then went all white when they started getting their feathers... and then started getting the black on them... let me know... I will see if I can find pics between now and then

That picture looks like my hen except she is all white. I do not know how old they are but they are still peeping. The Rooster has small comb and waddles and is also all white and peeps. Mabey 2, 3, or 4 months?

well hmmmm

I personally can not think of anything else that is all white with feathers on the feet... maybe someone else will come along and know... Since mine have the black feathers at 4 weeks... you could just imagine what they would look like at 8+ weeks... I hope you find out.

or Faverolles...and actually Faverolles have 5 toes, but they are also bearded and have milky white feet/beak....but they do come in white and have feathered feet. Maybe it's a cross between a Faverolle and a white Cochin....

Thank you so much! When I bought them I was told they were silkies but I did not see them up close until I brought them home. When I saw them I thought I had just bought something very odd and strange looking home. I knew they had to be some other kind of chicken or a cross. After looking at the Cochin Bantams I am convinced that is what I have got. They are going to be very pretty birds when they grow up. And they are actually cute now. If they werent I probably would not have bought them. Are they rare? Are they hard to come by? This is the first time I have ever heard of them or seen them.

I have cochin/silkie bantam crosses. Several of mine have had light skin and yellow feet. All of them have had a crest, however. Toes and foot feathering vary from light to heavy. About half of them are Silkie Feathered. I doubt Faverolles are involved. I have crossed them several times and the Faverolle coloring is very apparent with all I have hatched so far. You could have a white Silkie/Cochin cross, they are beautiful birds.
