silkie crosses still laying.

hi all.I was just wondering if it is normal for silkie crosses to be laying at this time of year. Yesterday I was give two silkie x light sussex bantams and they are still laying here in England. We have about 9 hours of daylight-the hens have no extra light, and these silkies are still laying. What I find wierd is the fact that I have young hybrids and crosses which are not laying.

My silkie mixes are laying like clockwork and it has been a rough Winter. Their mother, Q, is a very good layer when she isn't broody. Their father was a large fowl EE .
