silkie crouching and walking backwards

Our little silkie, we think is a hen, has been acting strange the last couple days. She will bend down with her crop near the ground and then back up several steps. She's been in the "Chick-n-Hutch" in the basement, recovering from a nasty attack by our Serama rooster. She is six months old and has not laid an egg. What should I be checking for?

Just from reading on here, I would think this is a head injury vs. Marek's vs. vitamin deficiency situation. No expert here, just trying to give you a place to start, and a bump.

Oh my. She was pecked bald on her head from our rooster. So, it may very well be a head injury. Is there anything we can do to help her? Will it clear up on it's own? She hasn't done it as much today. Poor baby. She doesn't even want to hang out with the other hens anymore, she just follows us around the yard.

I had a broody Silkie do this once..I placed her in a private cage for a few days and gave her electrolytes..and she was fine.
