Hi
I have a young Silkie (probably 6 months). I think she may have laid one or two eggs before but not entirely sure as she is with two others.
Her vent is bulging and I can see what appears to be a red veiny membrane, and also some blood (although she is not bleeding from there).
She went in the coop for 90 mins as if to lay and then came out like this. She is now walking round the garden, and occasionally strains. She does not seem distressed just quiet. She isn't making any noises.
Can anyone advise best course of action
